Formed in 2022, this group of murderous maidens have been slashing and dancing their way through local conventions, bars, parades, birthday parties, and more.
The performances the members create are a mix of comedy, horror and camp, and can be curated to specific audiences of all ages. Our villainous vixens explore many different music genres, and each performer has a vast library of parody songs in their arsenal.
These slashers also create original scripted theatrical performances that allows audiences to get to know these characters more in depth beyond their musical capabilities.
When not on stage, these killers also make public appearances to spread joy and fear all year round.
The Slice Girls are an independent performance group and are not affiliated with any other entertainment entity.
When Misha was 3 years old, she met her first great love of her life while watching Tales from the Crypt. You guessed it, it was the Crypt Keeper. Her heart was broken after learning he was a puppet, but her love for all things horror persisted. Classic horror, slashers, psychological thrillers, and horror comedies all found their way into her regular viewing. She's a horror hound through and through. When she's not with the Slicers, Misha enjoys doing SFX makeup, cosplay, and learning guitar. Misha's favorite part about being a Slice Girl is being able to have fun with her friends and meeting other horror fans.

Ghostie’s introduction into the world of horror began with a life size cutout of Freddy Krueger in a video rental store and she was scarred for life. Mandy has been performing since she was a child and as an adult became involved in the other creative aspects of theatre as well including writing, directing, producing, makeup and hair design. When she’s not terrorizing audiences and “pretending” to fall on stage, she spends her time chasing around three minions of her own. She enjoys singing karaoke, playing games, going to concerts, watching movies and anything Marvel. Don't ask her what her favorite scary movie is...🔪
Favorite Horror Movie: ... I literally just said don't ask (it's Beetlejuice) | Favorite Movie Quote: “We think too much and feel too little. More than machinery we need humanity. Don't tell anyone, but everyone's favorite killer doll actually like to help people too! During the day you can find her working the front desk at a local Doctor's office and reading every book she can get her hands on. Ashlyn grew up terrified of all things spooky and extroverted but decided to face her fears and fell in love. Now she binges horror movies, decorates for Halloween year-round, and slices up the stage with her best friends. Her favorite things about the season are driving around to look at leaves, going to haunted houses, and spending a fortune on decorations. The best thing about Slice Girls is the amazing friendships she's made and the confidence it's given her in herself.

She also is the frontwoman for the Springfield local rock band Blood Moon. You can often find her at a thrift store hunting for clothes, vinyls, and cassette tapes for her 80's collection. Banker by day, dancing killer clown by night. Kassidy has been singing her entire life, and once she moved to Springfield, she was swept into the world of performing arts and theatre. She actually wasn't a fan of horror movies until she watched the 2017 remake of "IT", and the rest was history. Halloween quickly became her entire personality, and she loves bringing the spooky vibes all year round. Kassidy can be found clownin' around with her friends at karaoke, running through haunted attractions, or finding new Halloween decorations. Kassidy's favorite things about Slice Girls are the lifelong friendships she's built with the other Slicers, and the chance to celebrate all body types on stage.

Rachel may play your favorite dream demon from Elm Street on the stage, but by day she works for the local public radio and television stations where she manages member accounts. She's a graduate of Missouri State University with a B.S. in Socio-Political Communication with an additional Certificate in Conflict and Dispute Resolution and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration. Rachel hopes to make a positive difference in the community, which is also what drew her to the arts. She loves all things music and theatre and often travels to see her favorite band -- King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. In her free time, Rachel likes to read, write, paint, and hang out with her husband and their dogs.

Jack Torrance aka Suzannah Wilson is a gal of many side quests, though Slice Girls is her favorite. She’s also a Travel Agent with Diserella Travel, a creative writer of many things, and a reviewer of haunted attractions with Team Graveyard Shift. She writes about her love of immersive entertainment (ren faires, theme parks, haunted attractions etc.) and travel on her blog, Wonders of Life Blog. Suzannah has been performing since she was ten years old, and toured the country twice teaching public speaking and performance skills as a coach for students 6-18. She talks about that a lot. Suz’s style is more of a laugh than scary, using Jack’s expressive character to play into her comedy strengths. What’s her horror obsession? The Mike Flanagan-verse, Haunting of Hill House, especially, but she also likes the campy classics. A hardcore Swiftie, she proudly codirected the Slice Girls’ Scare-AHs Tour show at Tremenidicon 2024. While there are no dead twins haunting her house, there are a couple of matching torty cats and a cranky bearded dragon. In a twist of irony, Suz is also married to the Slice Girls’ very own Final Boy aka “The Virgin.” She politely asks you don’t think about that too much.
